The Municipal Villa of Salerno is the “garden” of the city. It was designed in 1870 at the entrance to the city coming down from Vietri sul Mare. There is the famous Tullio Fountain and has a lush botanical garden with many rare plants from the Mediterranean area and beyond. - Maritime Station
Inaugurated in 2016, it is among the most important works of the famous architect Zaha Hadid. Its structure resembles an oyster with a sturdy outer shell that hides fluid and light elements inside. - Temples of Paestum
Paestum is an extremely important archaeological site, recognized in 1998 by Unesco as a World Heritage Site. The three Greek temples of Paestum, which are thought to be dedicated to the homonymous city Poseidon, Hera and Ceres, were built between the 6th and 5th centuries. B.C. and are among the best preserved Templar buildings from the classical age. - Garden of the Minerva
The Minerva garden is a botanical garden located in the historic center of Salerno. During the Middle Ages it was used as a simple garden for didactic purposes for the students of the Salerno medical school; for this reason it is considered the forerunner of botanical gardens understood in the modern sense of the term. - Arechi Castle
From the Arechi Castle, which overlooks the Gulf of Salerno, you can enjoy a breathtaking view that ranges from the tip of the Amalfi Coast to Agropoli. It represents an authentic example of Medieval architecture, still well preserved and appreciated throughout Italy. - Cilento coast
